Hi. I bought all this stuff years ago. It's so old, it's not even available from the manufacturer anymore. Oh well.So I wanted to have a portable way (and non permamenent) way of tuning my cars (at the time, I had 3 heavily(!) modified cars). So my thought was to build a portable tuning box. This incorpates; - Dual Wide Band Sensing - Single EGT (switchable with an external EGT switch) - Boost Pressure Sensor - Knock Sensor - G-Meter (for real time Dyno #s and skid pad work If'n I want) - Supports two external display meters.... - and Datalogging of all channels My intent with the gauges was to have it portable so I could hang it from a mirror or velcro it to a dash. Still need to look at that on a case by case basis. I bought the box from the school supply department of Walmart two or three years ago. It will hold almost everything for my portable road trips. So far, it's only been bench tested, as I need to solder in my VSS and RPM wires to the chassis. Then, all I have to do to tune is plug in the battery clips, hook up the vacuum, install my GM knock sensor using an adapter plate I made (portable, car to car), and hook up the displays and sensors I need/want. I hope maybe this will inspire others. .JPG)
